Still – Ali Griffin

I was deeply touched by Ali’s exhibition. Not only was it visually stunning, but the thoughtfulness and beauty behind the concepts was incredibly moving…

A reminder to slow down and notice the world, to see the beauty that exists. To notice all and realise that not everything will last forever.

Colourful and fragile, slightly morbid with chrysalises and butterflies frozen in time, beautiful pencil drawings of bird skulls. The poignancy of Ali’s artwork was further driven home by the speech opening the exhibition, a rousing call to think about the moments we go through, what we prize in life and our impact upon all around us.
