Dreaming of Home

During lockdown, I created this little website about home as a quick and fun coding exercise.

In honour of the wonderful straw bale house Dad built for us out in the Yarra Valley, which I’ve missed immensely! This was a little surprise for him from far away.

These simple illustrations of home respond to the movement of the sun throughout the day to show major solar events. Check back to see the day progress.

I also included a handy reference for a few key times throughout the day – to show the exact minute of each solar event for that day at home.

The next step will be to explore phases of the moon, and possibly some weather or the seasons…
